Mizzou stadium clean-up
Memorial Stadium Clean-up Fundraising Event
November 8 & 9, 2008
- The club will earn approximately $2,000 from this effort. All Hickman Lacrosse Club players must participate. Family members are encouraged to participate as well.
- We need 8-10 people to arrive at 6:00 p.m. to empty trash cans and replace liners during the game. We will meet at Gate 3-W on the north-west corner of the stadium. This is an easy job, plus you get to watch some of the game. Players participating during the game will get extra fundraising credit.
- All others should arrive at gate 3-W (north-west end of stadium) by 9:00 p.m. We will begin picking up trash in the south bleachers immediately following the game.
- Upon arrival, everyone must check in with the fundraising chairman, Eddie Wirths, to get fundraising credit*. Points will be awarded for each player and family member that works each day of the stadium clean-up event.
- We will work Saturday evening until the stadium lights shut off, approximately 11:00 pm.
- Everyone must return again on Sunday morning at 7:00 am. If all goes well, we should finish by early afternoon.
- On Sunday, we will need 3 – 5 pick-up trucks (adult drivers only) to haul trash from inside the stadium to dumpsters outside the south end of the stadium. Extra fundraising credit will be given to respective players for sponsoring use of a truck.
- Latex gloves will be provided.
- You must supply your own drinks and snacks.
If anyone has questions, call Eddie Wirths at 449-7039.
*Fundraising points are accumulated throughout the off-season and can then be redeemed for prizes prior to the start of the 2009 season.
