Summer League Canceled July 30

Due to weather, we will not have summer league Wednesday, July 30. We will play on Thursday, July 31 at the usual time of 5:30. We hope you can all still attend.

Update for SummerLeague

Due to the cancellation of the high school lacrosse at Show Me State Games, summer league will be extended at least one day to August 6. 

Several prizes will be raffled off at this event.  Also, t-shirts should be available next Wednesday, August 30. 

We look forward to seeing you out on the field!

Home Committee Co-Chair needed

Among other needs of the team is a co-chair for the Home Committee, Joanne Nelson is willing to continue, but she would like a partner in this endeavor. If you feel this is something you can do drop her a line at joanne@moccrrn.org. Responsibilities of the Home Committee include:
  • Assure tents are at games
  • Coordinate concessions and t-shirt sales
  • Coordinate and help design and order t-shirts, sweatshirts and sweats
  • Provide water cooler and fruit for each team
  • Assure that park is cleaned up after the games (boys need to do as public services for HLC requirement of school sport)
  • Organize the Fall Recruiting Event in coordination with the Communication/Publicity Committee
  • All other duties as directed by the Board

New site design and discussion group

You may have noticed the new home page design. It's a work in progress. So far the changes are only on the home page, the others will follow.

And we now have a Google discussion group. This will make communication easier for everyone.

No need to make sure you have everyone's email in your "to:" line; just send your email to: hickmanlacrosse@googlegroups.com.

The discussion group is integrated into the website so important announcements (cancellations, etc.) will be posted here and sent as an email. General discussion will not show up on the website.
